I am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, U.S. Army veteran and founder of Healing Harvest House, PLLC, located in Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley. My background includes Functional Medicine, Primary Care, Military Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
The concept of individualized wellness care was inspired after finding myself on the other side of the exam table as a patient, I was facing an advanced cancer diagnosis in 2018 that seemingly came out of nowhere. Prior to this diagnosis I considered myself to be a healthy, active individual who followed all the recommended guidelines for Cancer prevention, yet there I was. The eye opening limited, algorithmic treatment approach I was presented with was quite grim.
After conquering my own health battles and embarking on a long healing journey, I came to know and believe that lasting wellness begins by identifying underlying imbalances, addressing the whole person, and empowering individuals to participate actively in their healing.
Through Healing Harvest House, I have partnered with a highly published Johns Hopkins trained molecular geneticist to bring science, evidence-based medicine, nutrition, lifestyle interventions and holistic wellness to the clinic. Our mission at Healing Harvest House is to equip individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve lasting wellness, restore vitality and improve quality of life through personalized care tailored to each person’s unique genetic makeup, health history and individual needs.
