Ceylon Cinnamon, scientifically known as Cinnamomum verum, is a highly prized spice that has been used since ancient times for its aromatic, culinary, and health-promoting properties. Ceylon cinnamon contains bioactive compounds, including cinnamaldehyde, cinnamate, cinnamic acid, and numerous essential oils. These compounds are believed to have various biological effects, including the potential to help maintain healthy blood glucose levels already within range.
