Are you new to Castile Liquid Soap? Pronounced “ka-STEEL,” Castile soap originated in the Castile region of Spain famous for its soap-making. Originally made exclusively from olive oil, the name “Castile Soap” now refers to soaps that are made from plant oils (like coconut and olive), rather than animal oils (such as tallow).
It’s incredibly versatile. You can use Castile Liquid Soap as a hand soap, body soap, shampoo, or for babies and even pets. It’s also fantastic for applications all over the house—dishes, laundry, solid and fabric surfaces—it does a great job on everything.
